Boudewijn Lutgerink
Boudewijn is a long time VFP die-hard who started with the sly fox in version 2.6 and used each version of VFP ever since. He became an addict through his dealer and now a dear Friend whom he met in Arnhem when he just got there.
First working with Clipper he pretty soon turned away from that environment when Visual Objects came around. That version of a once so well-known development environment was “not according to the speed” he was used to, or, more bluntly, “it got as fast as a drunken snail in thick mud” is his uncensored version.
He lives in the Netherlands in Huissen, near the German Border in the Arnhem area, with his wife and soulmate Elina, their 6 cats, Marmouzet, Gaya, Barnara, Crystal, Quirine, Ginger and their Border Collies Joey and Jessy.
If not creating applications through the use of the beloved Fox he can be found in the fields with his Collies working on the sheep, in the kitchen cooking nice meals or playing his flute or singing in his Chapter.
Boudewijn has his own company, Lutgerink Economical Software Architects, and specializes in creating software that REALLY pays off for the companies who use it.
Finding the NetExtender / NetCompiler he immediately loved the product and he foresees a big future for the Fox in the Ne(x)t incarnation through this nifty product.
“We all will remember the dreaded day in March 2007 when Microsoft declared that they would not further develop on Fox. VFP.Net is a gift to VFP developers who know the true meaning of the word productivity, of course there is still much to do, but the product is reaching a level of maturity that makes the future for developers bright again.”
